    • Resins: Oil Phase

      KOBOGUARD® NATURAL 2063 is a Natural Origin, oil soluble Film Former extracted from pinewood. This highly hydrogenated resin has outstanding resistance to oxidation and is non-allergenic. It is available as 50% solutions in Natural Origin carriers, CCT or short chain alkane.
      KOBOGUARD® 5400 is a low molecular weight polymer (Hydrogenated Polycyclopentadiene), available dispersed in C13-15 Alkane, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Isododecane or Squalane. It is a low odor, oil soluble resin which provides water resistance and improves wear of the formula. It is an excellent alternative to Rosin based derivatives.
      KOBOGUARD® HRCC and HRPC are patented ternary wax resin composites, with unique synergy among all components. They provide adhesion and substantivity of the cosmetic formulation to the skin, hair, nail or lashes and improve water-resistance, rub-resistance, and transfer-resistance. They are composed of Carnauba Wax which originates in Brazil and meets the Brazilian Biodiversity Law (Federal Law No. 13,123/2015). KOBOGUARD® HRCC uses Castorwax instead of Polyethylene Wax, present in KOBOGUARD® HRPC. Because Castorwax is a more polar material than Polyethylene, HRCC shows enhanced solubility in CCT and Castor Oil making it better in lip products.
    • Resins: Water Phase

      KOBOGUARD® NATURAL PXF is a natural, water soluble film former, viscosity modifier, and suspension system. It combines two distinct polysaccharide technologies - food grade gums and micro fibrillated cellulose - in a synergistic stable blend.
      DAITOSOL and KOBOGUARD® 50AMP-G are water-based, alkyl acrylate copolymer emulsions. They leave a strong, flexible, long-lasting, thin film and enhance shine.
    • Resin: Silicone Phase

      KOBOGUARD® MQ is a silicone resin available as solutions in Dimethicone, Methyl Trimethicone or Ethyl Trisiloxane. It forms a protective barrier on the skin, holds pigments in place while providing water resistance, enhanced spreadability and improved wear.
